In a bid to enhance fisheries management and aquaculture practices, an international workshop-cum-training session is set to kick off at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) in Kochi. The event, organized for 10 officials hailing from eight-member countries of the African-Asian Rural Development Organisation (AARDO), is scheduled to begin on Monday, December 11, 2023.
Rami Mahmoud Abdel Halim Qtaishat, the Assistant Secretary General of AARDO, will inaugurate the workshop at 10 am on Monday. The collaborative initiative is a result of the partnership between the Ministry of Rural Development and AARDO, headquartered in New Delhi.
